Description
HYDROCON is a fabric conditioner and retexturizing agent formulated for
professional wet cleaners to process textiles that require additional drape relaxation
and a softer, supple hand. The product reduces static, improves stain resistance,
and reduces pressing time. HYDROCON has been certified by the EPA's Safer
Choice program as an environmentally-preferred wet-cleaning adjunct.
Applications
In laundry applications, HYDROCON is added to the final rinse operation of the formula. In wetcleaning applications, it is added to the break or the final rinse. This product also works well on rayon and linen garments which are difficult to press after aqueous processing.
Directions
Wet-cleaning applications: Add to the rinse cycle at a rate of 2 3 ounces per 10 gallons of water.
Laundry applications (commercial machines): Add 4 6 ounces per hundredweight (cwt) to the final rinse operation.
Top-loaders: Add 1/2 2 ounces to the final rinse compartment/operation.
Hand washing: In clear water, add HYDROCON at the rate of 2 ounces per gallon of rinse water and mix thoroughly. Allow fabric to soak for 3 5 minutes and mildly agitate. Squeeze out garments (DO NOT WRING) and dry/press according to label instructions.
Note
The HYDROCON formulation is a unique suspension which may likely begin to stratify over time. Generally, a shelf-life of 90 100 days can be expected from this material; however, this can be longer or shorter depending upon local environmental conditions such as intense heat or freezing. Do not use the product if it has completely separated.
